Goals

Defined as of 1st January 2010, we strive to achieve the following goals within the next 5 years:

• Recycle 1’000’000 refrigerators and freezers in an environmentally sound way.
• Reduce global greenhouse gas emissions through our industrial and commercial activities in a magnitude of more than 1’000’000 tons of CO2-equivalents.
• Create more than 50 sustainable and direct job positions.
• Spend more than $R 250’000 on training, education, and capacity building.
• Spend more than $R 1’000’000 in social programs associated with collection, exchange, and recycling of old appliances.
• Spend more than $R 150’000 on technology transfer measures and embed Brazilian technology suppliers in a local industrial ecology network.
